No worries. Let me tell you about Shorebreak. It is located at 10 Wilmington Avenue in Downtown Rehoboth Beach. 302-227-1007.
The ambiance is casual, friendly, blues and white decor, nice lighting, large windows so you cannot miss a thing. The background music is delightful.

An order of Sprouts, Bacon & Fig for Benedette and I. Delicious cured bacon, fig, and a balsamic reduction. Great combination.

Miso Honey Glazed Salmon over potatoes, green beans and scallions. This is Gluten Free.
I love a chargrilled octopus. It is a favorite of mine. This is bar far the best. So tender. I recommend it. Don’t miss it. You can have it as an entree or as an appetizer.
TGIF….the season is about to open. Shorebreak is a favorite and hopefully you will try it and think the same.

Bon Jour Rehoboth Beach. It promises to be a gorgeous Saturday at the Delaware Beaches.
How about a little breakfast, but not the usual run of the mill kind of breakfast.
For over 20 years Cafe Papillon has been in Rehoboth Beach, located at the Penny Lane Mall, 42 Rehoboth Ave. It is an alley on the ocean block. They are on Social Media. 302-227-7568.
Meet Jerome. He never ages. You may addressed him in French. They open only on weekends at the moment from 8 a.m to 2. After Memorial the hours change. On one side you get crepes and on the other you can buy French baked goods; a patisserie. And in between there is outdoor seating to enjoy your goodies.
From the photo above you can see Jerome starting my crepe. I chose the egg, cheese, smoked salmon, tomatoes and chives. Then here is the next step. OMG it looks so good.
The finished crepe and he put a slice of lemon on top.
So while in Rehoboth Beach check them out. Sitting outdoors on a beautiful spot is priceless.

First impressions always count.
Looks nice, doesn’t it? Bodhi was our destination late on Saturday evening. It is located at 10 N 1st St., in Downtown Rehoboth Beach. Best to have reservations. They are on Social Media. 302-567-2129
This is my second time at Bodhi and our service was excellent.
Starting with a Mango Matcha Lemonade. Grey Goose Citron, House Mango Syrup, fresh squeezed lemon, matcha float. It was not my drink but a taste told me that could a perfect summer crafted cocktail.
Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps for the table. While it was very good I think the restaurant has other offerings to try. It is a little spicy in case that’s something you want to take into consideration.
I usually don’t order Shrimp Toast but these are so good I have had them twice. A side of hot mustard complemented them so well.
Another appetizer for the table was the Togarashi Tuna on top of crispy sushi rice, avocado and spicy Japanese mayo. Togarashi is a blend of about 7 spices.
The photo above shows the Miso Seared Ahi Tuna with ginger dashi, stir fried veggies and Udon noodles. Dashi is a combination of kelp seaweed, and dried bonito flakes. Udon noodles are made out of wheat flour. They are thick and white color. This dish under the Large Plates was very well received.
Totally love the Soup Dumplings. Ground Pork, ginger, scallion, rice wine and pork broth. It is a favorite and was part of my dinner.
Love it when servers know all the dishes so well and can make recommendations.

First time at The Listening Booth located at 35000 Midway Outlet Drive, Suite 218. Basically it is on the side of the Polo outlet as you go into the bathroom area. At the Surfside Tanger Outlet. It is a small venue, a stage, and they do serve drinks. 302-313-1718.
It is described as a haven for musicians and culture appreciators. The Listening Booth now needs more space and this coming Friday is the last performance at this particular address as they are moving up a mile up the road. Check them on Social Media.

This past Saturday enjoyed Don’t Tell Comedy. This is a secret comedy show. Once you are on their email they will send you the where and when in your area. I know it is not very clear but that’s the whole purpose. A surprise. 4 comedians took the stage. Lots of laughter and all had their own funny bone.
The show was a couple of hours long. Then to a late dinner in Downtown Rehoboth Beach.
