Shotti’s Point, Ocean City, Maryland, Restaurant, Bar, Casual, OC, Review

“Bar food with a twist”. They said it, not me but I do have to agree. Shotti’s is located at 3505 Coastal Highway in Ocean City, MD on the bay.

A place my OC friends and I decided to stop for an early dinner. Ocean City and the Delaware Beaches are crowded this week.

I had never been to Shotti’s and I can’t wait to go back. It is casual and the food was great.

This Tuna Poke was outstanding. A nice portion, as well. We saw it coming out and had to have it. Actually, the three of us did. Rare Ahi tuna, saffron rice, kimchi, seaweed salad, avocado, plum sauce, toasted coconut, and shallots. This tower has everything.

This Duck Tostados were the appetizers. Perfect for the three of us. Like it spicy? Keep the jalapeños. Awesome!

They had smoke Gouda, pickled onion, black olives, jalapeños and crema.

That’s all we had. Plenty of other offerings to try the next time, for sure.👏👏

Happy Easter 🐣

Kaisy’s Delights, Restaurant, Lewes, Delaware, Breakfast, Lunch, Baked Goods, Ice cream, Delaware Beaches

Love Kaisy’s located at 1548 Savannah Rd. In Lewes, Delaware. I don’t plan my visit. It may be I just go through the drive through for coffee, or like the other day when I stopped for a chicken salad. They open from 6 to 6👏

Table cloth, cloth napkins. And, pink all around. It is quiet and the menu is extensive offering breakfast, lunch and ice cream too😋

I have been buying my coffee beans there. I do have a grinder. I don’t consider myself a coffee snub. But their coffee is from La Colombe, headquartered in Philly. It is the best.

It is a beautiful Friday in Southern Delaware. I am having my coffee but Sadie my rescue is barking her head off because they are cutting the grass.

Oh well, have a great day. AboutMyBeaches has a FB page and it is also on Instagram.

Eggcellent, Restaurant, Review, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Historic Lewes, Delaware, Delaware Beaches

Opening a restaurant during the pandemic must have been daunting but Alina and her husband who have both worked in the industry have done it. The restaurant is called Eggcellent located at 109 W Market Street in Historic Lewes, Delaware.

Eggcellent has been remodeled and has such a nice fresh look. You can sit indoors or in their covered patio.

The restaurant was originally started with breakfast and lunch but Alina’s husband who is the chef decided to open for dinner, as well.

Last Sunday just a week or so after this decision we went for dinner. We had the restaurant to ourselves because the word is slowly getting out. We loved it👏👏 We were able to talk to Alina in a very casual; not in a rush way.

Complimentary to the table the Hummus was incredible. Not exaggerating. It really was so good and all homemade. The bread was toasted and drizzled with olive oil.

I love Rockfish. It is local so I know it is fresh. My Rockfish was served on a bed of Mediterranean veggies with creamy crab sauce and rice pilaf.

TC decided on the Salmon Oscar served over rice with asparagus, lump crabmeat and hollandaise sauce.

The portions are very generous so you may even take some leftovers home.

No dessert was necessary. We had eaten enough but the desserts for that evening looked pretty tempting.

It is great to see these young restauranteurs taking risks and following their dreams.

Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale, Hotel, Scottsdale, Arizona, Restaurant, Rooftop Bar, Pool, Parking

Staying at this Hilton was perfect for the few nights we would be spending in Scottsdale. It is located at 7142 E 1st St. You can walk everywhere and it was quiet.

The Museum of The West is right across the street and it is not to be missed. You can sit outside while sipping coffee in the morning or a drink.

The lobby is large with lots of sitting areas.

With a rooftop bar to catch an amazing sunset or even dinner. The rooftop bar can be also enjoyed by the public.

The restaurant served us a delicious dinner. Our choice of bar seating.

Beautiful weather, with amazing blue skies.

Until next time.
