Habour Restaurant is located at 134 W. Market St. in Historic Lewes, at Canal Square. In the summer and fall it has a beautiful deck to enjoy the outdoors, dining al fresco.

On this night before Christmas we sat at the bar overlooking the harbor. It was informal and relaxing.

These local oysters were so good that more than a few dozen were ordered. Try them. They are so worth it.

Very well received were their potatoes gratin.?

An entree of their Bourbon & Brown Sugar Brisket hit the spot. Red Eye Gravy, Yukon Potato Gratin and French Green Beans.?

Many times while visiting the restaurant I have seen the Spiced Duck Breast passing by. I love duck. I was having it no matter what…medium rare. It came with Maitake Mushrooms, sunchoke puree, Bartlett pear and sunchoke chips. It is my new favorite until next time.

The desserts, while we did not need them, we had them and delicious they were.

Our bartender was engaging. Harbour has great crafted cocktails.
