Summer Concert Series, Stango Park, Lewes, Delaware, Entertainment, Tuesday, June 3, 2014, Outdoor Concerts at the Delaware Beaches, Southern Delaware
Stango Park is located right along Kings Highway in Lewes, Delaware. It is also the home of the Lewes Public Library. The park has spreading trees forming an arbor over the carpets of grass. It is the perfect place to bring your chairs, blankets, bug spray, friends, visitors, and family members to sit and enjoy the Summer Concert Series that are held on Tuesday evenings from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

Stango Park is named in honor of former Mayor Al Stango. He was a 12 term Mayor and retired in 1992. He is remembered for his personality and role during Lewes’ transition from a blue-collar working town to a city driven by upward-spiraling real estate.
