“Come Clebrate our Nation’s Birthday, Bethany Beach Style”, Bethany Beach, Delaware Beaches
I lived in the town of Bethany Beach for so many years. The parade was so much fun. Years ago candy was thrown and kids would go crazy for it. Children in bikes, probably just decorated with ribbons here an there. It really was great and I am so glad the tradition continues.
Important Notice: No Trolley Service on the 4th of July in Bethany Beach from 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The Service will resume at 3:00 p.m.
The town of Bethany Beach is honoring, this year, the formation of the Delaware Militia in the Revolutionary War. The present Delaware National Guard evolved from the Militia, and their 287th Army Band of the Delaware Army National Guard continues the proud tradition of “Liberty and Independence of the Delaware Regiment”. They will be marching at the head of this year’s parade.
