The week-ends have been bringing visitors to the beaches throughout the winter. When a holiday week-end comes around, it feels like summer. I remember when the beaches were practically dead from Labor Day until Memorial Week-End. It has not been like that for many years; the Delaware Beaches are a year-round resort!!
I love the Second Season at the Beach. It is a more relaxing time. No parking meters, restaurants and shops are open and the whole area kicks back. We, the residents, enjoy the beautiful scenery and life at the beach at that most beautiful time of the year.
Bethany Beach is considered to be a quiet resort; perfect for families. I know it well. I lived there for so many years. I raised my children there.

It is true when I stated that it has been a long winter for sellers and that spring and summer will have great bargains. Delaware also has low property taxes and tax free shopping.
Houses for Sale range from $299K to $7 Mil. You know how it is, the closer to the water the higher the prices will be. Still, there are very good bargains available with plenty of reductions.
