For many years I have know Alice Klein…her husband, Bryant, as well. Don’t want him to get jealous. I am a fan like many other of my friends that have come to enjoy Alice’s designs. Always so nice to chat and see what new designs she might be working on.
On this particular day I was so glad to congratulate Alice on her 35th year in the jewelry business. Her designs are so unique and recognizable. In celebration of her 35 years as a desinger she has an exhibit….memory lane shall we say. If you stop to see her, ask her to tell you what her original designs are all about, materials, concepts, etc. etc.
Alice says she draws her inspiration from customers, mentors, and art history.

This is one of my favorite stores at the Delaware Beaches. My friends do know so because I give them some of these baubbles to them. And, some have come to know TKO, Alice, and her husband, Bryant, as well. Love stopping by when in Bethany Beach to check what’s new. Usually, there is plenty to see. Alice and her husband, Bryant, who is also an artist and designer, as well, design and make their jewelry in-house.

Since 1980, Alice has been in business and she has quite a following. Her designs are recognizable; many customers collect her pieces of art.
Alice can customize any of your current pieces of jewelry. Maybe a little “facelift” is all that is needed.

Alice has a line of wedding bands. She tells me during the summer, men and women come in because they have lost their wedding bands. That turns into a shopping event; all putting their 2 cents into the conversation.

Women love accesorizing with jewelry. Jewelry can add so much to a simple dress. And, at times just that special piece is all you need to make that entrance.

They might be doing a lot on work in Downtown Bethany Beach, Delaware, but the stores are open!! Just park on the side streets. At this time of the year is no big deal. It is so good to be able to say thank you and mean it. I want to thank those companies advertising on AboutMyBeaches. Some of them I bugged a lot; explaining why they should be on my website. I really do appreciate it.
AboutMyBeaches started back on July of 2009. It was one of those ideas. I am a frustrated concierge. First it was going to be just a website. When my webmaster, Ed Timmons, met with me, I kept talking and talking. He probably thought I was more of a blogger. So, really, it was his suggestion. Here I am. Doggies at the Beach has 4 master groomers for dogs and cats, working 7 days a week; mornings, afternoons, and evenings. All you have to do is call for an appointment. The facility is great with 24/7 human care. It is also climate controlled. Dog training is also available.
Two new web-cams are being installed. One will be located in the new puppy room, the other in the new building called Bayside.
Doggies at the Beach is very much involved in the community. Don’t be surprised to see them in parades, holding events, and having a good old time!!

I can, actually, say that I have known Alice Klein for so many years now. Ever since I saw here designs for the first time, I became a fan. Yes, and you can tell that, as well, since you have seen frequent posts about this talented jeweler and designer in Bethany Beach, Delaware.

I don’t know what’s the sequence, regarding the heading of this post. Probably depends with Alice’s mood and the time of the year.

You can always find something at TKO. Her designs are beautiful and target a wide range of prices. It could be something for a friend or something more dramatic for yourself.
Alice can design anything you want or she can also update a special piece.
I was at the point in Cape Henlopen State Park last week. I always take visitors to that side of the park. You can see the town of Lewes and the Ferry on one side and on a clear day you can see New Jersey on the other.
It was windy and so many kiteboarders. I heard my name being called. It was Alice. She and all these other kiteboarders were having a blast. Actually, she might have been the only woman too. You see she has her passions; designing unique, never boring, pieces of jewelry or doing the extreme; kiteboarding.
This week I went to her store in Bethany. She opens Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
She has so many new pieces. Ones that I fell in love with were the earrings made out of shells she picked up in Puerto Rico. Here they are.
The rest is just a little peak into her designs. The pictures don’t do justice; you need to visit and have her explain to you the types of pearls, the stones, the metals, etc. etc.
