What’s Going On? A Full Moon, Rehoboth Beach, Global Astronomy Month, Sussex County Astronomy Society, Event, Telescopes in Rehoboth Beach, Friday, April 6th

 

 

“One People, One Sky” – – Global Astronomy Month is being celebrated in April.  It is the largest global celebration of astronomy since 2009.  For more info., please visit www.astronomerswithoutborders.org/global-astronomy-month-2012.html.

Taking advantage of the full Moon this week-end, the Sussex County Astronomy Society in conjunction with Global Astronomy Month, will set up telescopes in Rehoboth Beach, on Friday, 4/6, at the Bandstand/Boardwalk from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. to allow the public to view the Moon.  It is Free!!

The Sussex County Astronomy Society was founded in 2000.  A group of individuals with similar interests; enjoying the same thing.  For more information on the Society, please visit http://www.sussexastronomy.com.  It is “your local guide for astronomical happenings”.
