Something Comfortable…New Location…New Season…New Possibilities…Delaware Beaches…Ocean City, MD…Tour the Shop…Again, this post is for women only…
Maybe you are one of the readers that have caught on to a special store in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Back on 11/21/09, I wrote a post on a store called Something Comfortable. You can check that post by clicking on the November month and scroll down to the 21st. Now, I want to write about Something Comfortable again because this store’s new location is right on the Avenue. The new address is 122 Rehoboth Ave., the website is www.something-comfortable.com and the telephone is 302-227-6180.
Something Comfortable is owned by Sue Petty. Phyllis Papadopoulos works at the shop and both women are Comfort Specialists, as well as professionals in bra fittings. Phyllis will always be wearing her signature look; the measuring tape. We all need to be fitted from time to time especially as our bodies change. These is the perfect place; no intimidation and they will be honest. The right fit will make your whole outfit look better. Call them up to make an appointment.
Christine is a new addition to the shop. She will be there to help you with your selections.
You know, this really has been a truly beautiful week-end. Spring is in the air and, officially, is that time of the year. It is also that time of the year for spring cleaning; not only of items in your home but also items like toiletries, make-up, old clothes, coats and yes…those bloomers and granny underwear. Updating your intimate apparel is a personal boost.
When I was young I never went into lingerie stores but it seems that at this point in time young women are very into the Pj’s, loungewear and intimate apparel craze. New fabrics and colors are so updated. You find sizes for everyone wether you are slim or full figure.
Something Comfortable looks great. This location is so much bigger. The colors chosen for the walls and the dressing rooms are very appealing. They now have 3 dressing rooms with plenty of mirrors.
You will find a wide assortment of bras, panties, camisoles, corsets, chemise, robes and shapewear. Let’s talk shapewear, shall we? The brand Spanx by Sara Blakely, which is one of the many name brands available, is a gift from heaven for every woman that wants slimming intimates, comfortable shaping hosiery and tights and body shapers.
All in all, Something Comfortable carries about 52 brands; Betsey Johnson, Hot Flash PJ’s, Useful Chick Stuff, Oscar de la Renta, and Ralph Lauren to name a few.
Hanky Panky, another popular brand they carry, has comfortable thongs; stretch lace, lace and cotton and low rise. They are so comfortable, you will barely notice you are wearing anything.
When I was at the store I started looking at the white intimate apparel. They were so crisp and I was thinking about my friends, whose daughters are now getting married. Something comfortable has a whole section devoted to this special occasion.
They are still carrying the bra bags. As I described in my first post, these bags are perfect for traveling. As you well know a lot of the contour bras are very expensive so these bags will keep their shape. You can fit 6 in one bag depending on the size. They come in original or buxom.
The store has so many things to give girlfriends, mothers, bridal party or that significant other. For example, they carry Wine Tee’s and they are t-shirts that will either say, Wines Constantly, Group Therapy, Wine a bit..You’ll Feel Better. They look great with jeans and they come in extra small to 2X.
I just got the cutest slippers for my birthday from a friend. She knows how much I have enjoyed this store. She does too, as well.

Even though this store is really for women, men don’t have to feel isolated. They carry some items for them, as well. You can also see them on the website.
At the moment, the hours of operation are: Monday’s through Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 12 until 5 p.m.
There is also free shipping with U.S. orders of over $50.00.

Women of all ages like to feel good and there is nothing better than the feel of new lingerie, pj’s or loungewear. Something Comfortable has gift certificates available for purchase. So, all of you guys that might read this blog, this is a great tip for you, free of charge.

My sister Judy brought me to her favorite store (Something Comfortable) for PJ’s and bras while we were in Rehoboth Beach. I cannot thank the girls there enough for all the help they gave us and I just love the beautiful things Judy bought for me while I was there! I will definitely stop in for more next trip down to Rehoboth. You are my favorite now too. I am telling all my friends they need to come here to shop!!
