Santa does have a schedule and it seems that it will be making its annual Boardwalk stop in Downtown Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Santa’s House is the cutest one, not many have a background of the Atlantic Ocean in an award winning Boardwalk. Santa will be there on Saturdays from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. until December 21st. On Sunday, December 21st from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. is Pet Time!! Bring your pets for a photo with Santa. It is all FREE! Donations are very much appreciated.
Santa’s House is Rehoboth Beach is remembered by many of those that make this seaside town their home. A “moment” at Christmas time with my own children.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH – COOKIES!! – It is called a Cookie Walk at Epworth United Methodist Church located at 19285 Holland Glade Rd., off Coastal Highway (Rt. 1) north of Rehoboth Beach. This Cookie Walk is an anticipated event at the beach. Arrive early because the “Walk” begins at 9 a.m. until they are all gone!! Tables and and tables of yummy homemade cookies will be available for you to select your favorites. They will also have pre-packaged cookie assortments wrapped with Christmas spirit, as well as gift baskets of Fair Exchange coffee and chocolate. Those selected cookies will be sold for $8 per pound.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH – THE REHOBOTH ART LEAGUE HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE – 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. – All decorated for the Holidays the gallery will offer fine art, fine crafts and unique holiday gifts. There will be art demonstrations, music and singing….and refreshments. SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7TH – REHOBOTH BEACH MAIN STREET INVITES ALL TO DOWNTOWN’S COMMUNITY UNITY DINNER – An invitation by Rehoboth Beach Main Street to kick-off the Holiday Season on Sunday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center in Downtown Rehoboth Beach. This is an annual family event in Rehoboth Beach with plenty of food, fun, and entertainment for all ages. Taste local chefs/restaurants’ favorite dishes and desserts while enjoying live performances, crafts and even a visit from Santa from 5 until 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors (65+) amd $5 for children. Children under 5? FREE. Guests are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item for a person or pet.
For the children, enjoy a kids’ interactive art project with jewelry designer, Heidi Lowe, decorate gingerbread cookies with Joyce from The Bake Shoppe, and be entertained with Magic by Charlie.

In Historic Lewes, Delaware, Santa will be there today, Saturday, 12/22 from 1 until 4 p.m. Santa’s House is located in front of Citizens Bank on the corner of Second & Bank Streets.
In Rehoboth Beach, Santa’s House is located at the end of Rehoboth Avenue and the Boardwalk. The schedule is as follows:

Sunday, 12/23 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.

Monday, 12/31 – Save the Date and reserve your spot – Showstoppers on New Year’s Eve. A group of talented vocalists take the stage at 9 p.m. to perform an unforgettable selection of showtunes. Immediately following the show, dance into the New Year with a live swing band led by Doug Yetter. Enjoy a selection of hors d’oeuvres and cash bar all evening. All this plus dessert and a champagne toast at midnight for only $50.
Friday, 12/14 – Entertainment at Jakes Seafood, located at 19178 Coastal Highway, will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Performing will be John Remy who started performing professionally in 1977 in Ocean City, Maryland. Since the, he has played in countless venues. He is currently playing with Joe Smooth from No Byscuyts, 2 Much Stuff, Poole and the Gang, as well as many solo performances in the mid Atlantic region. Friday, 12/28 – December Monthly’s Screening will present the award-winning documentary “Bill Cunningham New York” at 7:00 p.m. upstairs screening room at the Movies at Midway located on Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach. This documentary traces the singular life and carer of the legendary New York Times fashion photographer, Bill Cunningham, whose iconic photos have spotlighted everything from hip-hop to haute couture. He is now in his 80s and continues to bike around NY shooting the New York Times “On the Street” photo section. The San Francisco Chronicle calls the film “deeply moving” and “visually stunning”. Admission $4 for current members (card must be presented). $6 for future members. Tickets are sold at the door on a first come, first serve basis.
Saturday, 12/29 – The Rehoboth Beach Film Society and CAMP Rehoboth are co-sponsoring a screening of “Cloudburst” starring Oscar winning Olympia Dukakis and Brenda Fricker at 2:00 p.m. The screening will be held at the upstairs screening room at the Movies at Midway located on Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach. This film was a 3-screening sellout at the 2012 Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival and features virtuoso performances from Dukakis and Fricker. Thias uproarious comedy-drama centers on the 2 women, a committed couple for 31 years. Stella (Dukakis) has a foul mouth and a taste for confrontation. Dot (Fricker) is losing both her sight and her grip on reality. When Dot’s neurotic granddaughter shows up, announcing that she intends to break the couple up by putting Dot in a nursing home, Stella sees a way out; they must head to Canada and get married. What follows is an alternately poignant and riotous comedy that has much to say about the true nature of love and commitment.
