Services, Plumbers, Painters, Tile, When unexpectedly Needed, Dependable, Professional

On my left hand side of AboutMyBeaches, on this website, I have under categories a place for services.  They are those tried and true services used by me that I can pass on to you.

You know how it is.  Need a plumber and who are you going to call.  A painter, needed fast; company is coming. Or, it is time to to some tile updating.

So, I have used the following services in the past month.  I thought they were professional and very dependable.

Seaside Plumbing, Inc.  They are plumbing and gas contractors, licensed in Maryland and Delaware.  They are located at 7731 Purnell Crossing Rd. in Berlin, Maryland.  Tel. 410-641-1368.  Website?  www.seasideplumbing.com.

Even though they are located in Berlin, Maryland they service the Peninsula; I just used them.

Note:  They do have 24 hour emergency service, as well.

Colorful Expressions – I used these painters and they could not have been more professional and knowledgeable about their work.  The owner is Chris Smullin.  Tel. 302-381-3578

Camelio Tile Co. – Tile Installer.  John Camelio is his name.  Tel. 443-497-1351.  Website? www.cameliotileco.com.  John did a great job and was very easy to work with.

The above companies are young and very pro customer service.

See you later….you know, as usual….bla bla bla

Rehoboth Home Services, Junk Removal, Landscaping, Senior Services, Estate Services, Local Moves, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware Beaches, One Call Does It All

Where are they when you need them?  I am talking about my kids.  They are certainly here for dinner but when is time to do some physical work, the disappearing act it’s what I usually find.

That’s o.k.  I am resourceful.  I have seen a pink and green truck up and down Rt. 1 at the Beaches.  Cute was the word that came to mind.  These “women” really have capitalized on the colors.  The sign said Junk Removal, Landscaping, Senior Services, Estate Services, Local Moves.

I needed them.  Wanted to get rid of some stuff.  I saw the truck was on the other side of the highway.  I could not catch it.  Then, I saw a van on the other side again.  Pink and green.  I was able to get the phone from the truck.  It would have been too easy to go to the computer or call information.

I spoke to Scott Smith, the owner, and on Wednesday they came.  At 8:30 a.m. I opened the door and 3 guys dressed in pink were at my door.  Did I have too much coffee? Pink hats?  A look past them showed that my cul-de-sac had 3 big pink and green trucks.  I am sure my neighbors were having a field day.  I did not have that much stuff; they followed each other and I was the first stop of many for the day.

Rehoboth Home Services is located here in Rehoboth Beach.  P.O. Box 13, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.  Tel. 302-344-1007.  E-mail is scott@rehobothhomeservice.com.

They are really one call does it all.  They work with realtors in the area, as well as delivering for some of the stores that are at the beaches.

Alex is also a painter and he is from Salvador.  Shawn is an electrician.

I asked Scott what would they did with the stuff they picked up?  He said that if the unwanted items are usable and in good condition they would donate them to local non-profit organizations that have given them their wish list.  They try to match the stuff to charities that can benefit from the donation.  If they can place them they can get you a receipt for a tax deduction from Habitat for Humanity and New Life Thrift Store.

They also are prepared to help people in need; out of their homes, fire, etc. etc.

Whatever is left they will take it to the landfill for recycling.    They are not a Junk Company; they services cost less than national Junk Hauling Services.  But there is a charge, depending what you need them to do.

I am glad my husband was home.  It pays to get older; $15 off by bill.

Scott showed me that each of their trucks have “women’s” names.  Cupcakes?  That’s what mine was called.

Rehoboth Home Services also works with banks.  Homes that are foreclosed need to be cleaned, and what a mess it could be.  Scott has even found some houses with dead animals inside.  Crazy.

They work with animal rights and rescue groups, along with Animal Care & Control departments of local governments.  They will make every effort to find kind and caring homes for all pets, including dogs, cats, fish, birds, and other animals in the household.

About the pink and green colors?  Having worked in marketing and advertising he thought the right look would make you notice.  Well, I certainly did.

All kidding aside, Scott, Alex, and Shawn were very professional.  Give them a call; no job seems to be too big or too small.

Have a good one!!…another great day!!
