Life’s a beach and playing in the sand is just part of it. Saturday, August 1st the 37th Annual Sandcastle and Sculpture Contest will take place in the north end of the Rehoboth Beach Award-Winning Boardwalk. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Judging begins at 3:00 p.m.
There will be prizes and trophies so take your time and be precise.
You can vote for your favorite sandcastle!!
And, you can also help build a community sand sculpture.
The weather looks like it’s going to be gorgeous, so get out there because it really is going to be a lot of fun.
Fundland is located on the south side of the Boardwalk. It is a must stop when visiting The Nation’s Summer Capital. Tons of games and rides and the beautiful Carousel.
The Bumper Cars are for the whole family.
The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand offers free concerts and on Saturday, August 1st from 8 p.m. until 9:15 p.m. The Jackie Browne Jazz Nonet will be the evening’s entertainment. It is a 9 piece ensemble formed by drummer Jackie Browne and tenor saxophonist, Bobby Bosick. The Band is based out of Wilmington, DE. It features some of the finest musicians in the tri-state area.
