Sadie, Rescue, Jungle Jim’s Total Pet Care, Doggie Daycare, Overnight Care, Pet Sitting, Dog Walking, Dewey Beach, Delaware, A Day in the Life of a Rescue

I had to start my post with the photo above. It is so true. Sadie, my rescue, loves me. She is so funny, She barks a lot but I think she loves more the front door of our house. Her domain.

So here she was dressed for Halloween last year. People ask me what breed is she. Heinz 57, course. Short legs, bigger body, great markings. I kept her name Sadie because she has a worried look.
A couple of days a week I take Sadie to Jungle Jim’s Total Pet Care, 1705 Coastal Highway, Dewey Beach, DE. 302-988-4186. The owner is Jim Caperelli. The Operations Manager is Alexa Barbaretti. They are dog lovers and it reflects in the way they care for their clients.

Sadie has a boyfriend and his name is Fonzi. He knows she’s the boss.

Halloween was a good day. In Dewey Beach Sadie and Fonzi were taken for an outing in town towards the bay by Alexa and Anthony, her husband.

First time Sadie had been in the water. She only put her foot in but took in the scenery.

She followed Fonzi’s lead and dug a hole.

It was such a pretty day and Dewey was quiet.

I have had Sadie since 2017. She trusts and she talks all the time. She has some bad habits but when you think of it who knows what she has gone through in her young life.

So all in all a good day in the life of a rescue.
