Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad…Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Southern Delaware

dscn7016

Taking a drive through Rehoboth Avenue in Downtown Rehoboth Beach, Delaware…it was quiet and peaceful…I like it that way.  36 degrees on Christmas Eve.  Love the Christmas Tree, right by the Bandstand with the award winning Boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop.  Priceless!!

A Christmas Poem written by Harvey Ehrlich in 1992.  Some years I have posted the poem completely…tonight is just this:

‘Twas the night before Christmas and Santa’s a wreck…How to live in a world that’s politically correct?

Something special was needed, a gift he might give to all without angering the left or right,

A Gift that would satisfy, with no indecision,

Each group or people, every religion;

Every ethnicity, every hue,

Everyone, everywhere…even You.

So here is that gift, it’s price beyond worth…

“May You and Your Loved ones Enjoy Peace on Earth”.

Merry Christmas y Feliz Navidad.
