What’s Going On? Rehoboth Beach, Activities, Events, Entertainment…It’s March!! Delaware Beaches, Southern Delaware, Sussex County
This historical marker is found at the end of Rehoboth Avenue, right by the Bandstand and the award-winning Boardwalk. Then, it’s the Atlantic Ocean. I read it all the time..since 1873, then, the railroad came in 1878. In 1891 Rehoboth Beach was named Cape Henlopen City, then to be formally changed in 1893. And, the rest it’s history. Rehoboth Beach is known as the Nation’s Summer Capital.
