The Beach, Delray Beach, Oceanside Beach Services, What a Pretty Day!!
Perfect temperature; not too hot and, definitely, not cold. Bright sunshine; the days are a bit longer and I am enjoying my stay in Delray Beach.
I walked the length of the beach and I could not help but notice how clear the water was. The blue color was unreal today. As I walked the beach I noticed that this year there are so many of the blue cabanas on the beach.
The City of Delray has selected Oceanside Beach Services, owned by Mike Novatka, as their beach service operator. This company has a website, www.beachservice.com. In it you will find rates, packages, gift certificates, services and shopping. The company started in 1979 with about 10 cabanas and now after 30 years in business they have over 1,000 and service major beach-front hotels in South Florida. The telephone is 561-840-3373.
If you are visiting Delray Beach and don’t feel like dragging beach chairs along with everything else, then you will be happy to find so many available for rent. They are very comfortable also.
Yes, this is Delray Beach. A nice wide beach that can get crowded at times; but today it was perfect.

Very disapointed in your set up at Delray Beach. Those wooden chairs are extremely uncomfortable and seem to be old looking as well. I am a senior citizen as well as most of your clients. I have been a member now for 4 years and will not renew if those chairs are still there when my membership is up this Aug of 2013. I took a 2 yr membership this time and was going to reup but now I will not.Many members who I spoke to as well are not happy with these chairs as they are not comfortable!!! My wife caught her skin trying to move it this weekend. I am a tall person and i am sure you have a lots of big frame clients who just cannot sit and fit in these chairs. They are also very difficult to move around in the sand as they do not give in to the sand.You cannot lay on your stomach as well as it just hurts!!! Sitting upright in the chair with the extension causes our legs and feet to be below our stomaches,not very comfortable.We pay a lot of money to be comfortable and was very pleased with your white sling chairs which sold me on the idea on becoming a member.Pleasae reconsider and get those chairs back and put those wooden chairs on auction at EBAY or sell them. Even with the new shelack on them they look very old!! As a matter of fact, I will consider a refund and you can pro rate me if you will,unless I see those white chairs back, Thanks in advance, Danny Katz
Please don’t kill the messenger. I will pass this info. to them. To tell you the truth I usually carry my own. I am glad you are voicing your opinion and hopefully, they will do something about it. Thanks for your comments.
