What’s Going On?, Dewey Beach, Activities, Events, Delaware Beaches, Saturday, Sunday
You can feel it in the air and on the highway. My first traffic jam happened today. People coming to the beaches, rain, etc. etc. sales and more sales and finally the sun came out.
Dewey Beach has all its music venues opening this week-end, but you will also find the following.
Saturday and Sunday the 28th Annual Sidewalk Sale continues in the Rehoboth/Dewey area. Bargains at the beach, that’s what it is. Some people enjoying going through the racks and racks of sale items; and others won’t get near it. I think I am in the latter group. 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Have fun!!
Saturday is Boat Drinks Bacchanal. This riotous celebration with plenty of revelers will take place at North Beach, 125 McKinley St. & The Bay. Noon until 5:00 p.m. An afternoon of music, open bar and $5 sandwiches. It is a fundraising event for Delaware Seashore Parrot Head Club.
The Parrot Head Club is a club with members of similar interests that participate in a variety of environmental and community services, providing a variety of social activities for the members.

On the other hand if you just want to sit out to enjoy the scenery, there is a nice corner table by Lighthouse that might have your name on it.
