Sea Witch Festival, Halloween, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Annual Event, vendors, Music, Parades, Monsters on Parade, Southern Delaware, Delaware Beaches

A beautiful weekend after the rain and wind event in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The Sea Witch Festival went on and my favorite day was Sunday with the Monsters on Parade taking place on the Boardwalk. Tons of competitors and a very well behave group of dogs.

There was music at the Bandstand and plenty of vendors too.

People in costumes and these two were my favorites.

Plan for next year. For me will be making a reservation at The Boardwalk Plaza for outdoor seating on the Boardwalk to sip Bloody Marys as the parade passes by.

Great to see so many smiling faces. This is the way it should be.

Love this time of the year. Have a great day.

You really need to look at the schedule…it is too extensive to put here.  But, one of my favorite parades will be taking place on Sunday at 3 p.m. on the Boardwalk.  It is the Pets on Parade.  It is so much fun and one of the most popular events of the whole week-end.  Hope to see you there.

“Monsters on Parade”, Sea Witch Dog Parade, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware Beaches

It started with a beautiful day; thank God.  We deserved it, after the “witchy” weather we had yesterday.

dscn0161

Even my trees suddenly started changing their leaves.  But, on my mind was that much awaited dog parade that is the highlight of the Sea Witch Festival; in my mind and the minds of many others, as well.

Rehoboth looked good.  It did not even look like it had rained.  The ocean was a little wild; not much, though.

dscn0280

I almost could not find parking.  It was like a summer day minus 60 degrees.

Even though it was a dog parade, their human counterparts were also dressed.

There were so many dogs….some decided that a parade was not so cool, afterall and maybe a swim was the thing to do.

dscn0281

Then, there was the dog parade crasher; a Bunny!!

dscn0237

And, there was the company, a poop patrol, that wanted to remind you that if you cannot pick up your dog’s poop…..they will do it for you, at a price, of course.

dscn0278

On that note….have a good one!!  Talk to you later….
