Get your family and friends and celebrate the New Year on the ONLY National Historic Landmark that does a ball drop on New Year’s Eve.

A lighted “ceremonial” anchor will begin its symbolic drop on New Year’s Eve from the top of the vessel’s tall mid-ship mast touching the main deck at the stroke of midnight and will coincide with a “blast” of the ship’s whistle.

There will be hot chocolate to sip, fire pits to ward off the winter chill, and, of course, music to keep everyone hopping!!
