Sweet Destination? Kilwin’s, Downtown Rehoboth Beach, Fudge, Brittles, Hand Dipped Caramel Apples, Chocolate Dipped Pretzels, Chocolate Dipped Oreos, Delaware Beaches, Southern Delaware
The first time I visited Kilwin’s was in Delray Beach, Florida. One of the most profitable Kilwin’s…..always crowded. People sitting outdoors savoring ice cream and sweet confections. Yum!!
Then, a couple of years ago Kilwin’s made its appearance in Downtown Rehoboth Beach. The location is 140 Rehoboth Avenue. Tel. 302-227-3611. Website? http://www.kilwins.com/rehobothbeach. Last year during the http://www.eatingrehoboth.com tour of Rehoboth Beach…another visit, and a taste of the most delicious Salted Caramel Ice Cream…..it is to die for. I was, definitely, visiting again.
Strolling Downtown Rehoboth Beach is a favorite past time of many visitors. A stop at Kilwins is a must. They have hand-padded fudge.
Cashew and peanut brittles…homemade.
Caramel apples.
Plenty of chocolate covered….anything.
It was a gorgeous day in Rehoboth Beach. Debbie, Jody and I decided to stop at Kilwins just to look. No, we were not going to have a taste of anything…..the diets have not been the best. We had willpower.
That lasted like 2 minutes. We tasted ice cream and my favorite was the Salted Caramel….hands down. Jody loved the coconut. Not me. The Salted Caramel is awesome!!
I think the chocolate covered pretzel rod is probably very good too. The combination of salt, and dark chocolate is incredible. Debbie’s choice.
In the making….the magnificent turtles. Huge!!
The chocolate covered oreos…
And the tiniest chocolate cups were being made.
We had to get out of there….fast….enough damage had been done….hahaha!!
Talk to you later. Have a good one!! Remember that you are at the beach. Enjoy!
