What’s Going On? Rehoboth Beach Film Society, Film Festival, Special Screenings, Catch Festival Fever!, 11/6 – 11/10, Southern Delaware, Delaware Beaches, Great Films Coming to Rehoboth Beach!!

The Rehoboth Beach Film Society works hard year-round to provide locals and visitors wonderful film programs for our coastal community.  They promote the art of film, entertain, educate and enrich the cultural life of Southern Delaware.

In 1998  the first Rehoboth Beach Film Festival appeared in Rehoboth Beach and since then who would have thought that in this small community a major Film Festival would developed.  Not only are film for adults, but there are plenty for children, as well.

The idea started in 1997, when a group of film enthusiast started discussing the idea of showing films in local restaurants.  The Rehoboth Beach Film Society is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization.

The next Rehoboth Beach Film Festival takes place from  Wednesday, November 6th through Sunday, November 10th.  Volunteers are needed now to distribute in October posters throughout Rt 1, Dewey Beach, and Milton.  Please call 302-645-9095 if you can help them out.

An evening of Film, Fun, and Fundraising – Catch Festival Fever will take place on Saturday, October 5th at the home of Wendy and Bob Rosenblatt at 7:00 p.m., located at the Rehoboth Beach Yacht & Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.  Reservations should be made by Friday, 9/27.  Please call 302-645-9095, or visit http://www.rehobothfilm.com/film_events_special_screenings_events.html.
