Fundue, Casual Eating…They are Back!!

I think fondues are coming back.  It is that kind of entertaining that is simple, casual and most of all full of irresistible fun!!

I decided to get an electric fondue last month.  And, the electric one was very simple to use.  And, simple to clean, as well.

I used a Canola oil because it has a lower heat index.  Don’t want to burn those delicious morsels of filet.

The sauces make it all the better.  I don’t have a recipe, I just use this or that; adding spices, and jams to make each of them different.

You can sit outdoors with your fondue, or do like I did and place it on the coffee table.  They are so conducive to interesting conversation at the table.

   I WANT TO KNOW WHAT ALL THOSE ITEMS WERE ON YOUR TABLE…IT DOES SOUND FUN!!!!

   Lots of goodies with a main ingredient of filet. Then veggies galore like cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, baby new potatoes…the sauces are easy; some have a “ketchup” base, and some have mustard. And, others have chutney and jams with juices to make them more liquid.
